Operations Manager is a full-time career level position, working closely with the Gym Director and Office Manager. The Operations Manager spends approximately 60% of their time in the office and the remainder on the floor ensuring a smooth and efficient employment of curriculum, training new employees, talking with parents, cross marketing other programs, and building a top-notch team of individuals who are 100% committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Know and live the Jump! philosophy while inside the gym and interacting with clients and children
  • Communicate information correctly and professionally to parents
  • Assist the Gym Director in training instructors while maintaining and building student enrollment
  • Ensure classes are delivered with passion, high energy and an attitude of fun
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Office Manager
  • Form a relationship with each parent and student in the program
  • Help parents enroll their students and assist parents in finding the right program for them
  • Answer all phone calls and emails in an upbeat, customer service oriented way
  • Greet each family that enters the facility (by name if possible)
  • Oversee the Camp Director and Gymnastics Director
  • Meet all deadlines and plan events hosted at the gym
  • Lead staff meetings and trainings

Qualifications and Skills

  • Passion for helping children and their parents
  • Proven management/leadership performance and achievement through experience in working with children and parents in related field
  • Strong leader and team builder: set the example for all other team members in hard work and providing outstanding customer service
  • Relate well to children, parents, and team members, through superior communication skills
  • Level 7 gymnastics experience or 5 years ballet/dance experience preferred or background in child development
  • Ability to create a fun and high energy work environment
  • Well-organized with foresight and attention to detail
  • Weekday availability and must work Saturdays
  • Strong ability to market and sell the program at every opportunity
  • Skilled with Google Drive and Microsoft Excel
  • Event Planning

Schedule (Subject to Change)

Monday - Thursday 12:00pm-8:00pm

Saturday - 8:45am - 2:00pm (Mandatory)
